by Jack Grassel and Tal Farlow. CD - 1994. Jack studied with Tal from 1993 - 1997. The two played often for many hours at Tal’s house. (Jack accompanied Tal on his final public concert at the National Guitar Workshop in 1997.)

In August of ’94, Tal set up his recording equipment to catch an inspired 3 hour session. He gave the tapes to Jack as a present. Finally in 2004 this recording from Tal’s house was mixed at Firebird Recording Studios is being made available to Jack and Tal fans.

It features 5 to 9 minute jams on eight standards. Share the fun these guys had that day!

The tunes: I Remember You, Like Someone in Love, I Can’t Get Started, Bluesette, When Sunny Gets Blue, Someday My Prince Will Come, Lover Man, Stella By Starlight, and 2 minutes of Tal working out some chordal ideas by himself.

The CD begins with Tal’s recorded voice message to Jack on his answering machine!
