(Preparatory rehearsals began in April.) WCM and John Babbitt are proud to present an anniversary concert commemorating the first time Jack performed his music on stage 40 years ago in this recently restored recital hall. Mr. Grassel created 70 compositions between 1970 and 2010. This concert will highlight 26 favorites. Jack will premier his latest composition "Swami Beflatananda", using harmonic and melodic material based on his Lunarian Mode. Program notes feature information with personal commentary on each piece. Improvisations will be abbreviated to focus attention on the compositions. Refreshments are offered during intermission. Meet the musicians in the lobby after the concert: John Babbitt - bass, Ben Hans - percussion, Jill Jensen - voice, Jack - guitar, mandolin, and flute. WCM is at 1584 N.
